Epididymis
Epididymis is a highly coiled tubular structure, lying on posterior surface and upper pole of the testis. It acts as a reservoir of sperm and allows the sperm to mature by the addition of substance to the seminal fluid to nourish the maturing sperms

Description
Epididymis is subdivided into three parts
- Head; superior expanded part composed of lobules formed by the coiled ends of the efferent ductules.
- Body; consists of the convoluted duct of the epididymis
- Tail; becomes continuous with the vas deferens
Blood Supply
It is supplied by the testicular artery
Lymphatic Drainage – same as the testis, to the preaortic and paraaortic group of lymph nodes.
